I went out to drive for 30 minutes around my city. They spend a great deal of time visualizing every day routinely, automatically… honing this asset. I find that these feeling sensations create an image that I am then able to perceive in my mind. Here’s what I recommend to you as an exercise: Listen to these videos over and over again. I try to make tiny ones at the corners. I have practiced it every day and seen little improvement. It sounds like everyone with full aphantasia (who literally see nothing in their mind’s eye) feels like they’re (literally) floundering in the dark at first, but in the couple of accounts I’ve read (including the one above) they start to see vague shapes or colours for a little longer after a few days or weeks. I have the other senses, they suck but I have them. I wonder if I do it right at all. I think the alcohol has nothing to do with it, but it made me laugh the secund day when I remembered that happened, anyways I could see, touch and hear. At this point, the image was visible in detail (~60% detail) for: 3 seconds + 2 seconds slowly disolving (5 total seconds, after that… nothing to see, all dark).
